World Famous Marshfield Mummers
Tuesday 26th December 2023
Tuesday 26th December 2023 – Boxing Day – starting at 10:30 in The Market Place with Christmas Carols & the Brass Band. The Mummers greet the crowds at 11:00. They then do a series of plays, up through the high street, that are steeped in history and will finally finish outside the Catherine Wheel at 11:45. The Wheel is open for drinks, mulled wine, minced pies. We do not serve food on Boxing Day.

Marshfield is surrounded by beautiful and unspoilt cotswold countryside. Whether it’s a small walk with the family or a large adventurous walk with your dogs, the surrounding footpaths provide a rich variety to suit all tastes. A little exercise before before or after a meal or drink is a perfect way to spend a few hours. The Catherine Wheel is dog friendly so plenty of refreshments (water and maybe a biscuit) for them too!
